The Content of Contentment

My Master Project "The Content of Contentment" aimed to find a way to materialize the joy of just being in the moment, being content. It worked around the concept of flow. The costumes created are a result of the indivudal working with them and hence will end up looking different everytime they are in touch with a new person. Simultaneously the textile the garment consists of itself has been created through a state of creative flow of the artist and represent a materialisation of a feeling, a moment in time. The Content of Contentment makes past and present meet through the present interaction with the in the past created garment. Other then with other garments - this exact created moment is the aim of this costume. The story this costume tells is just created in the moment of interaction. And will end up being a different story - and different costume - every other time.
