This mask was created in the context of the parade "Noorderlicht" in Antwerp. It similtaniously blocks the weares view with both light and shadow providing an experience which enlightens and confuses. The german word "Lichtblick" can be translated as "bright spot" and this mask is a materialisation of the confused and reliefing feelings that can co-exist when we manoeuvre through life blinded and guided by the light.
