APPLIED ARTS & DESIGN

The applied arts and design are a subject close to my heart and something that I am always drawn to. As a trained seamstress, I incredibly value a good foundation of craft knowledge and techniques. My heart warms when I manually create everyday objects that meet my standards of artistic aesthetics - I am somewhat driven by the "Gesamtkunstwerk"- idea of the Wiener Werkstätten and love it when what I create also meets a certain artistic and qualitative standard. If I simultaneously learn or specialize in a craft technique - all the better. I feel particularly at home in the textile area of applied art and design, but generally allow my artistic “SELF” to express herself cross-disciplinary. Sustainability is taken into account as much as possible.
